ALÉNOR SCENTS / EDITORIAL STORY

KARAKORAM

Beyond the road. Above the clouds. Four evocative fragrance profiles take their names from a mountain gateway and three extraordinary peaks of northern Pakistan.

THE IDEA / PROLOGUE

The mountains do not ask to be conquered. They ask to be encountered.

KARAKORAM begins at Askole, follows the character of stone in Haramosh, opens into the skies of Trivor and comes to rest beneath the mist of Rakaposhi, known locally as Dumani. Four places; four olfactory interpretations; one symbolic ascent. These locations are not presented as a single physical trekking route.

THE FOUNDING FOURA JOURNEY IN FOUR CHAPTERS
ASKOLÉ — editorial 50 ml fragrance bottle illustration set in its chapter atmosphere, not documentary photography or final packaging

CHAPTER 01 / 04   ·   THE THRESHOLD

ASKOLE · SHIGAR DISTRICT · GILGIT-BALTISTAN

ASKOLÉ

The warmth before the wilderness.

There is a moment when the familiar world gives way to the unknown. In Askole, at the threshold of the great Baltoro landscapes, the journey begins not with conquest, but with a decision to go farther. The air is still warm. The mountains wait.

Sicilian bergamot and pink pepper open the encounter. Davana, oud and white amber add richness; leather, musk and vetiver leave a trail of quiet resolve.

THE OLFACTIVE DIRECTION

BERGAMOT · PINK PEPPER · DAVANA · OUD · WHITE AMBER · LEATHER · VETIVER

CHAPTER 02 / 04   ·   THE EARTH

HARAMOSH · RAKAPOSHI–HARAMOSH MOUNTAINS

HARAMOSHÉ

The ground beneath every ascent.

Beyond the threshold, the terrain turns austere. Haramosh rises in rock and ice, demanding respect rather than applause. Here, the traveller learns that strength is not noise. It is the patience to continue.

Grapefruit brings a sharp opening; flint-like mineral facets, cedar and vetiver evoke sun-warmed stone, dry earth and the discipline of the ascent.

THE OLFACTIVE DIRECTION

GRAPEFRUIT · FLINT ACCORD · CEDAR · VETIVER

TRIVOR — editorial 50 ml fragrance bottle illustration set in its chapter atmosphere, not documentary photography or final packaging

CHAPTER 03 / 04   ·   THE SKY

TRIVOR · HISPAR MUZTAGH · KARAKORAM

TRIVOR

When the world becomes wider.

The landscape opens. Trivor belongs to a realm of exposed ridges, wind and immense distance. What once felt heavy begins to fall away. This chapter is not about reaching a summit; it is about the clarity that comes with elevation.

A clean rush of grapefruit, rosemary and cardamom meets soft florals, cedar, suede and vetiver—bright, composed and effortlessly expansive.

THE OLFACTIVE DIRECTION

GRAPEFRUIT · ROSEMARY · CARDAMOM · TUBEROSE · CEDAR · SUEDE · VETIVER

Reference inspiration: LACOSTE L.12.12 WHITE. A planned ALÉNOR fragrance profile. Independent interpretation, not affiliated with the original fragrance house.

DUMANÉ — editorial 50 ml fragrance bottle illustration set in its chapter atmosphere, not documentary photography or final packaging

CHAPTER 04 / 04   ·   THE MOTHER OF MIST

RAKAPOSHI · DUMANI · NAGAR VALLEY

DUMANÉ

Above the clouds. Beyond words.

And finally, Dumani: Rakaposhi, the Mother of Mist. Rising above Nagar Valley, the mountain moves between revelation and concealment. The clouds do not diminish her presence. They give it a language all its own. The journey ends with awe, not possession.

Bergamot and blackcurrant meet crisp green facets, airy tea, an ozonic suggestion and clean musk. An olfactory impression of cold light and mountain mist.

THE OLFACTIVE DIRECTION

BERGAMOT · BLACKCURRANT · GREEN FACETS · TEA · OZONIC AIR · MUSK · SANDALWOOD
